IS A WONDERFUL FILM!!! LIKE REALLY STOP READING THIS SHIT AND GO SEE IT!
it is a great film that has just about everything, comedy, drama, love interest, the age-old fight between two best friends and the girls they like. while it is a j.j. abrams film you can definitely see Spielberg’s touch on it, I felt that it was too much like a straight up Spielberg film and was disappointed at not hearing any reference to Abrams’ famous “slusho” drink like in Lost, Star Trek and Cloverfield. I could see Abrams’ imagination in it but at the same time the story, (the missing parent, the kid) made me feel like it was another Spielberg just the lights were missing. Abrams’ is a master at keeping us in suspense however and I love his monsters. it is definitely something that you should watch and I do not doubt that it will win some kind of award, I hope it does at least.

So it’s been more than a week since I saw you at the palladium with my girlfriend and all of my best friends and I still think about how amazing it was. I saw you with Asher Roth during the great hangover tour but Monday April 19, 2011 kicked that show’s ass to another world! I wish I could have recorded it but as I sit here listening to Pursuit of Happiness all I think about it in right now, one of the worst periods in my life I’ve gone through not knowing if I’m working and if my next check will be enough to help my mom, ALL I remember when you and your music enters my mind is you saying before that song how you’ve changed and had to go through some shit and how you’re all of our Big Brother and you’re waiting for us at the other side. I can’t wait to get on my grind again and be back on that other side. Your music has definitely helped and has already been such a big influence in my life and just wanted to let you know man. Thanks and can’t wait to see you again in San Diego.

Academy Awards
ok, so I don’t even know if the awards went out already or not (can you tell I work too much?) but after watching Inception almost every night this past week, I am convinced that it just HAS to win the category for best picture. I really don’t think that any other film in the category can take it even though I have not seen them hahaha. Inception is just honestly, too riduculously..GOOD. I mean the way it just bends your mind and haves you at the edge of your brain, not even just your seat! I mean it connects with the audience so well I think, and ANY kind of audience, I mean for crying out loud we all dream!! I DID think that Cobb was too much like his character from Shutter Island but I’m over that now. I mean this movie, this film of gorgeous yet haunting images and music is just, amazing! You really have to watch this…why are you still reading?? GO!!!!
p.s. I will try to watch the other nominees muahaha!
